How Can I Use Auto-Enrollment?

Requirements
  • The automatic enrollment feature must be enabled in your admin hosting settings.
  • All users must have the correct Azure Active Directory connection.

IMPORTANT! All users must have the following attributes populated in their Azure AD user account:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email Address
  • Company Name
  • Department
  • Job Title
  • Country
  • City
    Automatic enrollment in Amesite

    Log in to Amesite as an instructor with course manager access.

  1. Go to the Courses tab and click the Course Manager button.
  2. Click on the tile for the course you want to enable automatic enrollment for.
  3. In the Auto-Enrollment Attributes section of the General Information tile, select the attributes from the Azure AD user data that you want to use to determine which users should be automatically enrolled in the course.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Publish in the upper-right corner of your course.

Your learners will now be automatically enrolled in the course based on the attributes you selected.

Example:

To automatically enroll all users in the United States, select the following checkboxes:

  • Countries: United States
  • Organization: All organizations
  • Divisions: All divisions
  • Titles: All titles
  • Cities: All American cities

To automatically enroll all users in Mexico who are in the Sales department and live in Leon, select the following checkboxes:

  • Countries: Mexico
  • Organization: All organizations
  • Divisions: Sales
  • Titles: All titles
  • Cities: Leon

To automatically enroll all users in the United States and Mexico who are in the Sales or Engineering departments and whose job titles are Sales Associate, Junior Developer, and Director of Engineering, select the following checkboxes:

  • Countries: United States and Mexico
  • Organization: All organizations
  • Divisions: Sales and Engineering
  • Titles: Sales Associate, Junior Developer, Director of Engineering
  • Cities: All American and Mexican cities

Note: If a new user isn't showing as enrolled in a course with Auto-Enrollment turned on, please check the user attributes for the Learner. All must be filled in for auto-enrollment to work correctly!
