How do I host a Livestream?

Requirement: Create a Livestream using the content type Video Live Streaming 

To start a livestream:

1. Click the Start Livestream button.
2. Allow access to your microphone and video.

Within the livestream, you can:

• Share your screen.
• Chat with participants.
• Start activities for learners.

To end the livestream:

1. Click End Livestream in the top right corner.
2. Confirm that you want to end the livestream for everyone.

Notes:

• The Start Livestream button will be grayed out outside of the livestream's start and end times.
• Starting an activity will pause the livestream until you resume it. Learners will be prompted to return to the livestream once the activity ends.
• You will receive a notification once the livestream recording is processed. Learners can then review the recording at their convenience from the course journey.

Additional Tips for Success:

• The livestream will start at the scheduled time, not before.
• Uploaded documents will show as a banner for the livestream material before or during pauses
• Make sure you have a good internet connection.
• Use a high-quality webcam and microphone.
• Test your equipment before the event starts.
• Be prepared to answer questions from learners.
• Engage with learners during the event.
